This homeowner in Woburn, MA reached out to Erickson Foundation Supportworks with several concerns.
First, the attached garage had settlement issues beneath it's slab, which was pushing one of the foundation walls out. GeoLock anchors were used to stabilize this wall.
Second, within the basement of the main house, one of the foundation walls was cracked and pushing inwards. It was gradually getting worse over time, and so the homeowner knew he needed to address the problem before it got worse. It was a very small basement area, and so only a few options were available for solutions. The best, permanent solution was to install PowerBraces to stabilize the wall, and then also use a method of adding a new concrete wall in front of the failing wall, to both help stabilize and also look more asthetically pleasing.

GeoLock Wall Anchors
Three GeoLock wall anchors were installed to prevent the garage foundation wall from bowing outwards any further.
