Stabilized Steps and Portico
After raising the granite steps with helical piers and PolyLEVEL, the portico section attached to the steps is back in place, no longer leaning out or pulling away from the main home.
Helical Pier Under Steps Left
View of the helical pier on the left side of the granite steps. A steel beam was used between the pier and the footing of the steps, helping to distribute the weight evenly. PolyLEVEL was also used to fill the voids beneath the heavy steps.
