This homeowner in Auburn, New Hampshire, has lived in their home since it was built in 2005. A few months ago they had noticed a crack on the wall inside their basement. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection of their basement and our Design Specialist recommended installing 3 Geolocks to stabilize the foundation wall and FlexiSpan to seal the crack on the foundation wall.
This foundation wall on a home in Auburn, NH had a large crack near the inside corner. Over the years, pressure from the soils on the exterior pushed against the wall, eventually cracking it and causing it to lean visibly inwards towards the basement. Our team designed and installed a wall stabilization solution using PowerBrace brackets. These steel, wall stabilization supports are a permanent solution that will prevent the bowing wall from leaning in any further. They are anchored to the concrete floor below, as well as to the floor beams and joists above. Rather than waiting for the problem to get worse, these homeowners took action and now have peace of mind that their foundation wall is not going to bow or collapse.
